Listen: it’s Emerson. We all know that, after a long month spent away from the hustle and bustle of Boston, you can’t wait to come back and show off your new outfits, hairstyles, and improvements. And to let you in on a little secret, Emerson Casting Agency can’t wait to see them! Here’s a message from our Vice President of Talent, Srda Vasiljevic, for all of our talented actors and models:
I wanted to personally give you an update on what’s happening with Emerson Casting Agency. Last semester was a very exciting one for ECA. We were incredibly honored to have our actors and models represent the Agency in such a prominent way on campus and in Boston. This semester was, as you know, the launch of the agency, and we couldn’t have asked for a bigger splash. ECA Models and Actors owned the screen, photoshoots, and the runway. Some highlights included:
Ari White brightening up the screen as the lead actress on the Kevin Bright Workshop Sitcom, Trending.
Shea Gomez gracing the cover of EmMagazine, in addition to an 8 page spread.
Gabe Gibbs stepping into first place in Fashion Society’s Emerson’s Next Top Male Model Competition.
Stefani Robinson and Shea Gomez walking in professional fashion designer, Charlotte Ronson’s Spring Fashion Show.
Those are just a few of the many achievements that our actors and models have already achieved, and next semester is gearing up to be even bigger. We have currently been signed to be the official casting resource for EmMagazine, Emerson Fashion Society, the EVVY Awards, and Ribbons on the Runway, not to include many Film and VMA projects for the Spring semester.
Actors, this is where you come in. In order to provide the most up-to-date information to potential clients, we want to see what you’ve got. We are updating our database, and we want you to have the opportunity to update your portfolio, your monologue, and show us what’s new about you.
Emerson Casting Agency will be holding its Spring Casting Call alongside Common Auditions, and we would love to see you all there. We are asking for a 1 minute monologue from either a play or film. We implore all of you to attend, because we are looking for the most recent and relevant material to offer to potential clients. If you don’t have a new monologue, we would love to update our database with the most current videos possible, so bring in whatever you have. More information about the casting call will be emailed out soon, but start working on those monologues, we want to see what you have to offer.
I would also like to thank each of your personally for being a part of this amazing group. This semester has been incredibly exciting for us behind the scenes, but it wouldn’t be anything without you.
Thanks again for putting your confidence in us, and I look forward to seeing you at our Spring Casting Call.
Don’t miss your chance to be discovered.
All the best,
Srda Vasiljevic, VP of Talent: Acting
